The concept behind Sunset House has always been quite simple; “treat guests with the same warm hospitality that we would give a friend in our own home”. It is a tradition passed down from the proprietor’s mother, Ms. Hebe Briggs Connors, who did just that almost 50 years ago; inviting travelers into her own expanded home, the beginning of Sunset House in late 1958.
Starting in November and running for the next 12 months, Sunset House plans to celebrate this special event with a series of specials and celebrations. Tracking down long time guests, the first divers certified at the resort, romance packages, photo contests and much more await the dive community. With its legendary reef just steps from your room, the infamous bar, spectacular restaurant and an award winning dive operation right on premise, this upcoming year will truly be a divers dream.

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Sunset House Resort in Grand Cayman is staging a photo contest with just one rule: The resort must serve as the backdrop. Categories include “Best Family”, “Most Dramatic”, “Best with Amphitrite” and “Most Romantic”. Prizes include stays at the resort and dives with their award winning dive operation, Sunset Divers. Online reservations!
Sunset House now offers online reservations that you can book securely day or night and you will receive your confirmation number directly from the resort within 48 hours! The site has a Web Server Certificate that you can verify on site and transactions on the site are protected with up to 256-bit Secured Sockets Layer. Look for the icon on the website's left side.
Packages can be custom created, so whether you want 6 days of diving or just 2, the reservation system can build what you want.
