The next IDC begins October 1st, 2008 with guest British Course Director Gary Mawston.

The PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors) Instructor Development Course is the next step in the quest of becoming a PADI Instructor. During the IDC, you will learn to use and adapt the PADI system of diver education to individual student needs.

The goals of the Sunset Diver’s IDC are simple!

• To ensure that candidates pass the Instructor Exam (IE) that immediately follows.
• To create great instructors that have the skills and confidence to create better divers in the future.
• To give candidates the background in the business of diving, so that one understands the relationship between resorts, retail and travel.
