Congratulations!!!

A further 2 lion fish have been caught on sunset reef on the 10th July and the 9th July. The first one was a whopper! it must have been a colossal 3 c.m long! that's 30mm! The second was caught last night by 4 sunset divers members on the reef near the mermaid. If you see Andy ask him why the lionfish tried to swim up his shorts. I think it liked him.

We have had reports of a couple more which we are trying to find but have been unsuccessful right now.

Here is a picture of the guys and gals who did the advanced course over the July 4th weekend. It was a really good weekend, doing deep, wreck and night on the Saturday, and navigation and search and recovery Sunday.
The highlight was the night dive, we had huge reef crab, lobster, squid, lions paws, had a look at the bioluminescence (appropriate for 4th July) and I think the best bit was the octopus encounter which culminated in a battle of will between diver and octopus, the latter taking a particular liking to one of ladies.

Gillian Young from DOT London pictured with Andy Barnes after yet another memorable Resort Course. Gillian was visiting Sunset Divers on a fact finding mission and took time out to explore the renowned house reef. Her goal now is to come back and get certified. This we can do.....
